about the website

This is Itinerae. Shye's online home and a personal website. The place where I share the html x css templates I do for fun. The site is designed for desktop (chrome), but it should be now fully responsive too.

History

I've been creating different kind of websites since the year 2002 or something (when I was 13-14). I started at Expage, later moved to Geocities and Freewebs. At some point I had a domain dying-feelings.org.

When the social media came I thought siteworld was totally dead and I forgot about making websites for many years. I'm so happy that I found Neocities. Itinerae was published in february 2024.

In January 2026, I decided to buy a domain for Itinerae. Since .com and .net were already taken, I ended up with Itinerae.org. It felt the most homely anyway. :)

Why "Itinerae" ?

I found this name at namelix business name generator. Itinerae is a variation of Latin word itinerary which means something like a planned route or journey. I love traveling, so I think this name suits me well. I also like how it looks.

Wall of shame

I wouldn't want to make a section like this, but it's a bit annoying when the entire layout is taken by someone.

This list is not easy to get on, I always send a message to the person in question before adding anyone here. Taking inspiration from my site is perfectly OK or copying a widget for yourself, but copying the entire site's code is not acceptable. :c

If you find yourself here, please remove my code and I will remove you from here.

Actions I sent a message on neocities that copying my design is not allowed.
Result The site owner deleted my message and my layout is still in use there - heavily modified but still.

Case #2 Website (image)
Actions This person has copied my NC landing page. I sent a message on neocities that copying my design is not allowed and ask for removal.
